Misererely, it was 12 years ago today, 4382 days ago, on 10-21-2009, that the Lord foresaw and allowed Myrtha Mikel to pen her wicked tale of weaponized false allegations of abuse that began the adversity that led to my illegal and unjust incarceration. Even though she did eventually admit at trial that she lied¹ in her manipulated communications, the foul spirit² behind her deliberate untruths still had their devious effect.
Yet, even today, I am left assuming that Myrtha's lies were born
out of a jealous and prideful spirit because she was placed in a position of
submitting to my professional authority. For years she had been allowed to
wrongly assume administrative duties that were not hers to begin with. Upon my
hiring she was left virtually powerless and finally responsible for fulfilling
her actual job description. She deeply resented being asked by someone
considerably younger, white, and male to comply with TPS standards of
evaluation and requests for improvement in her performance. In retaliation she
created weaponized false allegations of abuse in an attempt to remove me from my
principalship³. She pulled an inverted "Karen" ⁴ on me.
Realistically, this was not the first, and certainly not the last time, that Myrtha Mikel bent the rules, lied, cheated, and manipulated the system to get her way. I personally witnessed, and reported, her "using the system" to falsely accuse the mother of a Skelly student, Christopher Ruff, of ongoing harassments in order to have her banned from our campus for a second year in a row. When she was denied the choir directors position at Paradise Baptist Church she again "'used the system" in retaliation by weaponizing and creating a false allegation of abuse against that churches minister. Myrtha felt emboldened, and invincible, due to a Tulsa World news article(5) written about her being the "[person who reported the most child neglect and abuse cases to DHS in Tulsa County]". Early on in my fall 2009 interactions with her she showed me this article and let me know that she had "power" and "could get things to go her way". I wish I had taken those words to heart as the omen that they were.
Treacherously, Myrtha Mikel also "used the system" to
her financial advantage. When I first encountered her, she was already involved
in several civil court cases(6) over questionable ethical behavior. She was
neglecting the care of her cattle and property in Owasso. One of the first
issues that I had with her at Skelly was the theft of petty cash from a locked
cash box from inside of a locked closet over the summer break. One of the three
people who knew where this cash was, and whom had access, was Myrtha Mikel. I
also am of the opinion that she was initially theorizing conspiring with the
Kimbel-Hilley family for a kickback from any potential financial windfall
from TPS. During my trial evidence was presented, and testimony given by
Myrtha herself, that she had willfully and illegally benefitted by committing
Federal Fax Fraud under the auspices as an agent of TPS(7), yet no criminal
charges were ever filed by DA Tim Harris. I personally believe that this was in
return for her continued mud slinging testimony and pandering to the jury. Thankfully,
the jury saw through her lies and acquitted me of the Count I charges that
Myrtha Mikel was directly involved with.
However, I have never blamed Jameka Hilley(8), Tony Kimble(9), nor Jaylynn Hilley for the Count I charges brought against me. They were manipulated, maligned, and marionetted by Myrtha Mikel (10). Thank God that those lies were exposed and the truth was revealed. What I do not understand is why the Kimble-Hilley family did not launch a civil suit against Myrtha Mikel for her manipulations as she preyed upon their own legal woes and the emotional and mental disabilities of Jaylynn. I am certain a class action lawsuit against Myrtha Mikel could be established because many, many of those "reports" Myrtha made to DHS over her career had no merit, but she knew that "using the system" would protect her as a "mandated reporter", even when she lied to reap revenge or an advantage.
Although twelve years has been a long time to suffer from the weaponized false allegations initiated by Myrtha Mikel, I take reassurance from the Word's account of another man who was imprisoned due to a scorned woman's weaponized false allegations¹¹, history's first "Karen". God will eventually hold Myrtha Mikel accountable at His throne of judgement¹². She and I will dwell together in Heaven, as she is a Christ follower, but her rewards will be greatly diminished for breaking one of the Big Ten (thou shalt not bare false witness) and her crowns tarnished because she remains unrepentant for her lies ¹³, unjustified illegal behavior, and weaponized false allegations of abuse. There will be no "using the system" in the Lord's presence as all lies and liars are exposed and the truth is revealed. I look forward to the Lord's Shalom promises of truth, justice, and a better tomorrow ¹⁴.

Kelli Cobb. She was able to skew their perception of me and color their
testimony at trial through even more mudslinging.
